How Our Converter Works

When you use FileConvert, the conversion process happens entirely within your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly technology. The file you select is processed locally on your device, and the converted file is generated without any server communication.

When you close the browser tab or navigate away, all data related to your conversion is automatically cleared from memory.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to operate our service:

• Analytics data: Anonymous usage statistics (page views, conversion types used) to improve our service
• Technical data: Browser type, device type, and general location (country level) for compatibility and performance optimization
